About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist with 4+ years of experience, including 2+ years in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry, to join our HR team. This role will be instrumental in driving full-cycle recruitment efforts, building strong candidate pipelines, and supporting our global hiring initiatives.
This role will require periodic travel to HLB offices and/or college recruitment fairs throughout the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles across the organization, with a focus on AEC-related positions.
Partner closely with the HR team members to align hiring strategies with firm goals.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates, including international talent.
Manage and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), with a strong preference for Greenhouse.
Ensure compliance with U.S. and international immigration laws, including visa sponsorship processes and global mobility support.
Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to inform data-driven hiring decisions and improve process efficiency.
Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners, universities, and industry networks
Champion HLB’s employer brand through creative outreach and engagement strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in the AEC industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HR Management, Social Services or related field.
Proven experience recruiting internationally and navigating immigration and visa processes.
Proficiency in ATS platforms; Greenhouse experience strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong team collaboration.
